DCR has an extensive range of drain cameras available for hire. In fact, we’re home to the largest fleet of drain cameras for hire in the UK. Because of this, whether you need a pushrod, crawler or specialised system like an ATEX-approved or dedicated-fresh-water system, we're almost certain to have it when you need it!
Our fleet is also thoroughly maintained in-house for the utmost levels of reliability and our prices are highly competitive, with pushrod hire starting at just £75 for 3 days!
We also hire a range of additional drainage equipment as well as drain cameras. This includes drain cleaning equipment such as Picote Millers and Cleaners, locating equipment including sondes and various locators from manufacturers such as C.Scope and Milwaukee, and specialist vehicles including drainage, CCTV and jetting vans.
Other vital drainage equipment is also available to hire including pipe plugs and packers, generators, waste pumps, and much more.

Our range of pushrod systems for hire can inspect pipes with diameters of up to DN230, with reel lengths from 40 metres to 120 metres.
ATEX-approved and fresh water systems are also available.
We have multiple crawler systems - including portable, ATEX-approved and fresh water systems - available to hire.
We also have numerous enhancements and accessories including crawlers, cradles, reels, battery packs, and more.
Hiring a drain camera from DCR Inspection systems
Below you’ll find the answers to common questions about hiring drain cameras and other equipment from DCR:
Do you deliver?
Yes! We deliver throughout mainland UK.
All of our deliveries are sent on a next-working-day basis at a cost of £70. We can also collect your equipment and have it returned to us, again for a fee of £70.
Can I collect hire equipment?
Yes, you can collect hire equipment from one of ten hire collection points throughout the UK (please click here to find out more about our hire hubs).
Can I arrange the return of hire equipment myself?
Yes, however, if DCR collect your equipment, then your hire ends as soon as it’s been collected. If you arrange for equipment to be returned, then your hire will not end until it’s arrived at our premises in Pontyclun.
How do I arrange the collection of hire equipment?
Please complete and submit our hire collection form. Please note that we do not offer same-day collection so please select the date of the next working day or later when selecting your collection date. Please note that we also only collect equipment from Monday to Friday.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
All new and proforma customers must pay a deposit with each hire. The total deposit will differ depending on the item you hire, but we require a deposit of £1,000 for all drain cameras, large drain cleaning machines and other capital equipment. Smaller deposits are required for items like locators, sondes, pipe plugs, etc.
Once hire equipment has been returned and has been inspected by one of our engineers, your deposit will be returned to you via bank transfer.
Can I extend my hire?
Yes, you can extend a hire, and there are no hidden fees involved. You can simply keep your equipment for longer and will only be charged for the additional days you have the equipment.
Do you charge cancellation fees?
Provided you cancel a hire prior to any equipment being sent out or collected, then there will be no fees to pay.
Can I open a credit account with you?
Yes. Following us having successfully invoiced you on three separate occasions, you can apply for a credit account. In order to do this, please call us on 01443 841540 or send an email to accounts@draincamerarepairs.co.uk.
I’ve not hired from you before. Is there anything else I should know?
Just that we’ll need you to have completed our New Customer Form and our Hire Terms & Conditions before you’ll be able to collect your hire equipment or have it shipped to you.
